How long is the chartered flight from Brownsville or MCALLEN to the lodge? 

Charter can’t be more than an hour and a half and you arrive directly to our landing strip on property

Pricing may vary depending upon plane size and route. Quotes available joint request.

How many ducks do you typically get per hunt? 

It all depends, but an average of 15-20 per person.

What is the best time of year to harvest fully plummed birds?

Plumage is best as late in the season as possible. January they’ll start to molt, and best would be late February early March.

Are shells included?

Shells are not included and to be paid prior to guests departure. Shells are $20-$24 per box.

What is the temperature like? 

Between November and February, we have highs in the mid 70's and lows in the 40’s.  All of the other months have highs in the 90's and lows in the 70's.  It can get very windy and September is rainy season, but storms always roll through quickly.

What if I forget to pack something?

Even though the nearest store is 30 minutes away, we have a fairly well stocked inventory closest filled with your most basic amenities. All are easily available for purchase through our website or can be tacked onto your room charge.

Will you have deer hunts in December 2021?

Yes and the cost will be $7,000-$15,000 USD. However it is still TBD.

What is your booking policy ?

Once your dates have been approved, a 50% non refundable deposit is required to hold the date with in 15 days of booking. Final payment will be due 60 days prior to arrival at Las Palmas.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations at Hacienda Las Palmas are non refundable. If you are not able to make the trip for an unexpected occurrence the deposit and full payment will be honored for one calendar year to be used towards any rebooking.

What are your policies for tipping?

House tips per person must be paid prior to departure and are based on the packaged rate.

It is customary to leave $400 per shooter and any additional is welcome.
