FOOD

We pride ourselves in getting the freshest ingredients and we source locally as much as we can. We also love fire, so anything that can be grilled, smoked, or cooked in nature, you will probably have it here.

We believe in really good food with great presentation and not too many frills. Side dishes and salads add a little lightness to our mainly meat-forward menu, and regional cheeses and salsas accompany every meal because, well we are in Mexico.

Other local favorites that we cook up on the regular are

  • pork + beef in all its forms

  • local cheeses

  • fresh caught local langostinos

  • fresh local white fish for ceviche

  • duck

  • quail

  • dove

Root vegetables, citrus, mezcal, mangos, figs- all things that are found in tamaulipas in abundance so seasonally, they are added into our recipes.

We wanted to create a menu with food hunters will love but also gives them a nice balance and a heavy dose of what you expect here- Mexican food.

We have 4 standard menus that are already created and will be sent to you prior to your arrival. If there are any food allergies or any modifications that need to be made for your group, we are happy to oblige with enough notice.
